Tuscany
Tuscany is one of the most famous wine regions in the world, known for its rolling hills, cypress trees, and ancient vineyards. Thanks to its warm Mediterranean climate and diverse soils, elegant quality wines with great character are produced here. The region is particularly famous for the Sangiovese grape, which forms the basis for iconic wines such as Chianti, Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
In addition to red wines, Tuscany also produces excellent white wines, including Vernaccia di San Gimignano, one of Italy's oldest protected white wines. Tuscan wines are characterized by their beautiful balance of fruit, fresh acidity, and refined spiciness. They pair excellently with pasta, grilled meat, game, and aged cheeses.
