Robertson is located in the fertile Breede River Valley and is one of South Africa's most important wine regions. Thanks to the calcareous soils and the cooling influence of the Breede River, fresh white wines and elegant, well-balanced red wines are produced here. Robertson is particularly known for Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz, but other grape varieties also thrive here.
