Fun fact

Vermentino is one of the most important white grape varieties along the Mediterranean. Although the grape is primarily known from Sardinia and the Tuscan coast, it also thrives in Tuscany. Thanks to the influence of the sea, Vermentino develops its characteristic fresh acidity, aromatic character, and subtle salty minerality.
