Tarani is a wine from Vinovalie, a collaboration of four cooperative wineries in the southwest of France. The collaboration brings together winemakers from Gaillac, Fronton, and Cahors, among others. The goal is to combine the knowledge and character of these different regions with modern winemaking techniques.

Fun fact

The name Tarani is over 2,000 years old. Roman amphorae bearing the name Tarani have been found near Montans, close to Gaillac. The current wine brand Tarani deliberately references the ancient wine history of Southwest France with its name.
