Various aromas of ripe plums, cherries, and jam. Additionally, some sweet spices: think of liquorice and vanilla. On the palate, a slightly sweet entry, followed by a warm and long finish. The structure is silky fruit. Dark purple-red color.
Food Pairing
Tarani Malbec is delicious with a cheese board featuring mature Gouda, stews, spiced lamb, Moroccan meatballs, spicy vegetables, Surinamese dishes, or a large T-Bone Steak from the grill.
Additional information
The vineyards of the Tarani winery are located in the Comté Tolosan in the Sud-Ouest region around Toulouse. The Comte Tolosan includes three characteristic Sud-Ouest appellations: Cahors, Fronton, and Gaillac. The region is situated just north of Toulouse along the Tarn and Garonne rivers and has a particularly long viticultural tradition. The soil consists of sand, clay, and alluvial river deposits. This wine is the answer to Malbec wines from Argentina, give it a try.
