Diverse aromas of ripe plums, cherries and jam. Also some sweet spices: think liquorice and vanilla. On the palate a slightly sweet start, followed by a warm and long finish. The structure is silky smooth fruit. Dark purplish-red color.

Tarani Malbec is delicious with a cheese board with aged Gouda cheese, stews, seasoned lamb, Moroccan meatballs, spicy vegetables, Surinamese food or a large grilled T-Bone Steak.

Additional information

The vineyards of the winery Tarani are located in the Comté Tolosan in the Sud-Ouest around Toulouse. The Comté Tolosan contains three characteristic Sud-Ouest appellations: Cahors, Fronton and Gaillac. The region is located just north of Toulouse along the Tarn and Garonne rivers and has a particularly long winemaking tradition. The soil consists of sand, clay and alluvial river soil. This wine is the answer to Malbec wines from Argentina, try it out.

The Tarani Malbec has already received multiple awards. For example, the wine received silver at the Decanter World Wine Awards for the 2017 vintage and a silver medal at the Concours Général Agricole.
