Tasting Notes Nebla Verdejo

The Nebla Verdejo by Vicente Gandia is a very appealing wine with a bright, straw-yellow color and an inviting aroma of tropical fruits such as pineapple, melon, and mango, with subtle notes of hay and fennel. The taste is full, buttery, and fruity, with a characteristic freshness in the finish.

Wine & Food 

Pair Nebla Verdejo with light dishes. Think of fish dishes such as grilled white fish, sushi, or ceviche, but it is also a perfect choice with shellfish such as mussels or oysters. Additionally, it goes well with fresh salads with goat cheese, green asparagus, or avocado. Also perfect for a cozy moment with drinks.

Other information

This Verdejo from the Nebla series comes from the large Spanish winery Vincente Gandia. The 4th generation is currently working here and they are still enthusiastically moving forward. Vincente Gandia has now grown into the largest winery in Valencia!

The grapes for the Nebla wines are harvested at night, which ultimately benefits the aroma and bouquet of these special wines. The white Nebla wine comes from Rueda and is made from the Verdejo grape. This white wine is bone dry with refreshing acidity and plenty of tropical fruit. 

Did you know? The name Nebla refers to the early morning mist in the vineyards when the fresh night air gives way to the morning sun through the fog.
