Tasting Notes Feudo Arancio Tinchitè
In the glass, the wine shimmers in pale straw yellow with elegant green reflections. A typical characteristic of young Grillo with fresh intensity. The nose opens with pronounced aromas of nectarine, peach, complemented by tropical accents of mango and papaya. Very fresh and delightfully drinkable. Something a bit different for a change.
Wine & Food Pairing
The Feudo Arancio Tinchitè is ideal as an aperitif or with light, summery dishes. Think of fresh scallops, raw fish, lightly smoked fish, salads with quinoa or fish, white fish dishes, or mild cheeses. It also pairs well with stir-fried vegetables with fish or pasta dishes with a fresh pesto.
Additional information
The Grillo is a local specialty and yields a delightful, fresh and invigorating wine with plenty of flavor. Grillo is still a somewhat unknown grape, but it is becoming increasingly popular, and it's no coincidence that the Dalila from winery Feudo Arancio is the best-selling wine in their range!
Feudo Arancio is part of the large Gruppo Mezzacorona. Mezzacorona, founded in 1904 in Alto Adige, was one of the first cooperatives in Italy and remains the best example of how the interests of farmers and the production of quality wines reinforce each other. Since 2001, Mezzacorona has owned the Sicilian Feudo Arancio, and its vineyard holdings have grown to nearly 700 hectares, spread across the southern part of the island. Here too, there is a strong focus on sustainability, and the wines are made using the most modern methods.
Did you know: Tinchitè means "In abundance" or "a lot": The word is derived from the Sicilian dialect and is used to denote a very large quantity or a generous portion. It reflects the full, rich flavor and abundant fruit in this wine.
