Tasting Note Vincente Gandia Bobal Blanco
This Bobal Blanco from Vincente Gandia has aromas of ripe fruit (strawberry) and white flowers. The taste is juicy with a fine acidity and a refreshing, long finish with hints of forest fruits. This wine is pale yellow with a pink glow. An original blanc de noirs, fresh and juicy.
Food Pairing
Delicious as an aperitif or with fish, shellfish, and salads with young cheese.
Other information
The vineyards of Utiel-Requena are located inland, within the larger production area near the East Coast of Valencia.
The winery responsible, Vicente Gandia, encourages its winemakers to create these types of adventurous and unusual wines alongside traditional varieties. The Valencian Gandia family has been active in the wine trade throughout Europe since 1885. It was not until the 1960s that they began bottling their own wine. They were the first winery in the greater Valencia area. Today, they produce wine in almost all of Spain, from Rioja, Rueda, Rias Baixas, and Ribera del Duero to Priorat.
Vicente Gandia is a leading, innovative winery that has always been characterized by its international approach, which has ensured that today, Vicente Gandia wines are sold in more than 90 countries and on 5 continents. The company is now run by the fourth generation. Year after year, Vicente Gandia wines are reliable in quality, accessible, and very drinkable, always with an exceptional price-quality ratio.
