Tasting Notes Villa Blanche Merlot
The nose is characterized by notes of very ripe black cherries, but also the scent of garrigue with thyme, myrrh, and some notes of olive tapenade. A lovely southern character, in any case. Wonderfully supple and generous on the palate with ripe, well-integrated tannins.

Villa Blanche Merlot pairs perfectly with grilled red meat, such as lamb chops from the Big Green Egg. Bon Appétit!

This Merlot matures for 12 months in concrete vats. Therefore, there are no notes of wood aging, but the grape precisely represents the volcanic terroir of clay and limestone.
Villa Blanche Merlot is made by the renowned and award-winning Domaine Calmel & Joseph from the Languedoc Roussillon in Southern France.
Laurent Calmel is an oenologist and has gained experience in various wine regions in and around France. Jerome Joseph comes from the hotel industry and is responsible for the commercial side. Together, they ensure that the wines of Villa Blanche are among the best in the Languedoc-Roussillon!
The white wine from Villa Blanche has made a great name for itself among wine drinkers worldwide.
