Tasting note Villa Blanche Merlot
The nose is characterized by notes of very ripe black cherries, as well as the scent of garrigue with thyme, myrrh, and some hints of olive tapenade. A lovely Southern character, in any case. Wonderfully smooth and generous on the palate with ripe, well-integrated tannins.
Food Pairing
Villa Blanche Merlot is a perfect pairing with grilled red meat, such as lamb chops from the Big Green Egg. Bon Appétit!

This Merlot ages for 12 months in concrete vats. So, no notes of oak aging here, but the grape perfectly represents the volcanic terroir of clay and limestone.
