Tasting Note Villa Blanche Chardonnay
Expressive aromas such as apricot, mango, banana, peach, nuts, blossom, and anise. The palate is supported by a touch of butter and vanilla from several months of aging in wooden barrels. This Chardonnay from Calmel & Joseph is so beautiful, full, and round that every wine lover should have tasted this white wine at least once. Beautiful golden yellow color.

Villa Blanche Chardonnay is produced by the famous and award-winning Domaine Calmel & Joseph from the Languedoc Roussillon in Southern France. Laurent Calmel is an oenologist and has gained experience in various wine regions in and around France. Jerome Joseph comes from the hotel industry and is responsible for the commercial side. Together, they ensure that the wines of Villa Blanche belong to the top of the Languedoc-Roussillon!
Villa Blanche Chardonnay is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The grapes are harvested at night in two passes. An early harvest to retain freshness in the wine, then fifteen days later to obtain good concentration and more aromas. After the harvest, the wine matures for 3 months in oak barrels.
This wine has a perfect price-quality ratio and is considered one of the best Chardonnays in the world under 10 euros.

Villa Blanche Chardonnay is picked at night in two different harvest moments. This allows the wine to retain both its fresh character and its ripe, full fruit. Furthermore, part of the wine ages for three months in oak, which provides subtle notes of vanilla and toasted nuts.
