Tasting Notes Villa Blanche Chardonnay
Expressive aromas such as apricot, mango, banana, peach, nuts, blossom, and anise. The taste is supported by a hint of butter and vanilla due to several months of aging in wooden barrels. This Chardonnay from Calmel & Joseph is so beautiful, full-bodied, and round that every wine lover should try this white wine at least once. Beautiful golden-yellow color.

Villa Blanche Chardonnay is made by the famous and award-winning Domaine Calmel & Joseph from the Languedoc Roussillon in Southern France. Laurent Calmel is an oenologist with experience gained in various wine regions in and around France. Jerome Joseph comes from the hotel industry and is responsible for the commercial aspects. Together, they ensure that the Villa Blanche wines are among the best in the Languedoc-Roussillon!
Villa Blanche Chardonnay is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The grapes are harvested twice at night. An early harvest to maintain freshness in the wine, then fifteen days later to achieve good concentration and more aromas. After harvest, the wine ages for 3 months in oak barrels.
This wine offers perfect value for money and is considered one of the best Chardonnays in the world under 10 euros.

Fun Fact
Villa Blanche Chardonnay is harvested at night in two different stages. This allows the wine to retain both its fresh character and its ripe, full fruit. A portion of the wine also ages for three months in oak, which provides subtle notes of vanilla and toasted nuts.
