Tasting Note UP Ultimate Provence Red
UP Ultimate Provence Red is a modern, elegant red wine with an enticing aroma of ripe black cherries, blackberries, and plums, complemented by notes of violets, Provençal herbs, licorice, and a subtle hint of cocoa and black pepper. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, with ripe tannins, juicy dark fruit, and a beautiful balance between power and finesse. The long, spicy finish gives the wine a refined and Mediterranean character.
Wine & Food
UP Ultimate Provence Red pairs excellently with grilled beef, lamb, Provençal stews, and poultry from the barbecue. Also delicious with pasta with rich tomato sauce, aged cheeses, and Mediterranean dishes with rosemary and thyme.
Additional information
Ultimate Provence is a modern winery in the heart of Provence, where tradition and contemporary elegance come together. With its iconic bottle and innovative appearance, the domain has established itself as a leading name. Despite the modern approach, terroir, quality, and craftsmanship are always central.
The grapes are harvested when optimally ripe and carefully selected. After traditional fermentation at controlled temperatures, a short aging period follows, partly in oak and partly in stainless steel tanks. This allows the wine to retain its fruity character while developing extra structure, depth, and a subtle spiciness. Discover even more wines from Provence
