Intense aromas of redcurrant, wild strawberry and pomegranate. The palate offers plenty of red fruit, light notes of vanilla, mild tannins and a touch of spice on the finish. This delicious Sicilian wine has a ruby red color and has been aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.

The Nero d'Avola is the most important red grape of Sicily and one of Italy's most significant indigenous varieties. Named after the town of Avola in the deep south of Sicily, these wines are often compared to the Syrah grape. Winemakers brought this grape to the southern tip of the island a few hundred years ago. Today, it is spread across the entire island of Sicily.

Feudo Arancio is part of the large Gruppo Mezzacorona. Founded in 1904 in Alto Adige, Mezzacorona was one of the first cooperatives in Italy and remains the best example of how the interests of farmers and the production of quality wines can reinforce each other. Since 2001, Mezzacorona has owned the Sicilian Feudo Arancio, and their vineyard holdings have grown to nearly 700 hectares, spread across the southern part of the island. Here too, there is a strong focus on sustainability, and the wines are produced using state-of-the-art methods.
