Clear straw yellow color. On the nose, tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), vanilla and acacia honey. On the palate, harmonious and fresh with balanced acidity and a soft creaminess. Pleasant, fruity finish. Perfect as a fresh, approachable Chardonnay.

Feudo Arancio Chardonnay is excellent with raw tuna or sea bass tartare. Also delicious with grilled fish, such as grilled langoustines in lemon oil and a hint of vanilla.

Additional Information

Wine producer Feudo Arancio is from Mezzacorona in Alto Adige. This also means that in distant and hot Sicily, they specifically seek out that freshness, low alcohol, and delicious juicy element. That's what they're used to! A small part of the wine matures in old French oak, so the fresh accents remain present.

The Feudo Arancio winery is part of the large Gruppo Mezzacorona. Mezzacorona, founded in 1904 in Alto Adige, was one of the first cooperatives in Italy and is still the best example of how the interests of farmers and the production of quality wines reinforce each other. Since 2001, Mezzacorona has owned the Sicilian Feudo Arancio, and its vineyard holdings have grown to nearly 700 hectares, spread across the southern part of the island. Here too, there is a strong focus on sustainability, and the wines are made using the most modern methods.
