The Calusari Fetească Albă is produced by the Romanian winery Cramele Recaș, one of the most leading and innovative wine producers in Romania. The winery is located in the historic wine region of Viile Timișului in the west of the country and possesses hundreds of hectares of vineyards. Thanks to modern techniques, international expertise, and a strong focus on quality, Cramele Recaș has played an important role in the rise of Romania as a contemporary wine country.

The wine is made from the indigenous Fetească Albă grape, one of the oldest and most valued white grape varieties in Romania. The grapes are largely harvested at night to preserve their freshness. After a gentle pressing, the wine ferments under fully temperature-controlled conditions in stainless steel tanks. No oak is used, which ensures the pure fruit, fresh acidity, and aromatic character of the grape are optimally preserved.
