The Calusari Chardonnay is produced by the Romanian winery Cramele Recaș, one of the leading wineries in Romania. The company is located in the historic wine region Banat, near the city of Recaș in the west of the country. Thanks to a combination of modern winemaking techniques, international expertise and excellent vineyards, Cramele Recaș has developed into one of the most important ambassadors of Romanian viticulture.

The grapes for this wine are harvested during the cooler hours of the day to optimally preserve their freshness and aromatic quality. After a gentle pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks. No oak aging is deliberately used, so that the fresh fruit character, purity and accessibility of the Chardonnay are fully preserved. The result is a modern, fruit-driven wine that appeals to a wide audience.
