The Ca'Bolani Pinot Grigio is a fresh and elegant white wine from Friuli. The aroma reveals ripe apple, lemon zest, acacia blossom, and subtle spicy notes. The palate is juicy and refreshing, with a beautiful balance of ripe fruit, fresh acidity, and a slightly saline minerality. The finish is remarkably fresh and persistent.

Additional information
The wine comes from Aquileia in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in northeastern Italy. The vineyards here benefit from a unique combination of influences: the Alps provide cooling air currents, while the Adriatic Sea offers additional cooling. This allows the grapes to ripen beautifully without losing their freshness.
The Pinot Grigio has a clear straw-yellow color with a slight coppery hue, which beautifully suits the character of the grape. Ca'Bolani describes the wine as a Pinot Grigio where ripe fruit, floral notes, and pronounced freshness are central.

Fun fact
Pinot Grigio is actually a grey/blue grape variety. The skin is therefore not green like many white grapes, but has a grey-pink to coppery color. This explains the slight coppery tint that you sometimes see in Pinot Grigio. According to the winery, this nuance is visible in the color of the wine from Ca'Bolani.
