The Ca'Bolani Pinot Grigio is a fresh and elegant white wine from Friuli. The nose reveals ripe apple, lemon zest, acacia blossom, and subtle herbal notes. The palate is juicy and refreshing, with a beautiful balance between ripe fruit, crisp acidity, and a slightly saline minerality. The finish is remarkably fresh and persistent.
Food Pairing
Delicious as an aperitif and excellent with fish, shellfish, sushi, salads, and light pasta dishes. Also great with Italian antipasti, grilled vegetables, and dishes with fresh herbs.
Other information
The wine comes from Aquileia in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in northeastern Italy. The vineyards here benefit from a unique combination of influences: the Alps provide cooling air currents, while the Adriatic Sea offers additional cooling. This allows the grapes to ripen beautifully without losing their freshness.

Fun fact
Pinot Grigio is actually a grey/blue grape variety. The skin is therefore not green like many white grapes, but has a grey-pink to coppery color. This also explains that light coppery tint you sometimes see in Pinot Grigio. At Ca'Bolani, this nuance is visible in the color of the wine, according to the winery.
