The aroma offers fresh notes of green apples and white fruit. The taste contains elements of apricot, apple, and a hint of pepper. Truly delightful to drink in summer, serve this white wine at a temperature of 8-10°C. Clear pale yellow color.

Winzer Krems Grüner Veltliner is delicious with fish dishes, light pasta with mushrooms, asparagus, cucumber salad, endive salad, tuna sandwich, cold mussels.

Additional Information

Winzer Krems, with its 1480 affiliated members and almost 1000 hectares of vineyards, is one of the largest cooperatives in Austria. Their vineyards are located in and around the town of Krems, on the northern bank of the Danube just west of Vienna. They fall under the Kremstal appellation, which together with the adjoining Wachau and Kamptal belongs to the 'super trio' of Danube wines.

The oldest mentioned and still most famous of these vineyards is the Kremser Sandgrube, on the outskirts of Krems. Appropriately, the Winzer also established their production facility there. The focus within the Kremstal and at the Winzer Krems cooperative is on characterful white wines in the form of Austria's 'national' Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Red is equally original. For this, the typically Austrian Zweigelt is used, and definitely worth ordering!
