In the glass, a brilliant, straw-yellow color shines. The nose offers delicate hints of tropical fruit. The aromas of Sauvignon Blanc are prominent, with notes of lime and pear, giving the wine a wonderfully fresh acidity. A crisp mineral structure and the creaminess of Chenin Blanc contribute to great complexity and a lingering finish. Last but not least, the Semillon adds a pleasant richness to the whole.

Waterkloof Estate, known for False Bay wines, was acquired by Paul Boutinot. Boutinot. What and Who is Boutinot? You could better ask: what isn't he? Domaine Boutinot is a very large wine producer. One with arms all over the world, exporting to 40 countries. His "home-base" and wine heart is in the Southern Rhône, but he also has properties in England, Piedmont, and South Africa. Boutinot has his affairs excellently managed!

Waterkloof is situated on the cool, windy slopes of Schapenberg in Somerset West, Stellenbosch, just three kilometers from the ocean. All vineyards are located about 300 meters above sea level. Here, the grapes are given ample time to ripen slowly, resulting in a magnificent freshness and complexity.
