The aroma immediately surprises you with beautiful scents of warm, ripe fruit. Full and deep flavor with red fruit, such as cherries, black currants, blueberries, blackberries, plums, and a hint of vanilla. Nicely luscious, soft, with sweet tannins and pleasant acidity. Velvety finish. Beautiful ruby red color with a light purple rim.

Additional Information

This Rosso Fuoco is made from a blend of the Negroamaro and Primitivo grapes, sourced from the vineyards of the Torre de Lancia winery in magical Apulia, in the heel of Italy. These two grapes complement each other perfectly, resulting in a powerful and full-bodied wine.

The beautiful Torre de Lancia winery is part of the Velarino family from Salento. The grapes thrive in a perfect climate here. On one side, plenty of sunshine, and on the other, the coolness of the wind from the ocean.

The Negroamaro grapes are harvested first in the early morning. Approximately 2 weeks later, the Primitivo grapes are harvested. Upon arrival at the winery, all grapes are thoroughly inspected and checked. Only the best bunches are processed into this delicious, soft, velvety wine.

Fun Fact

The name Rosso Fuoco literally means "fiery red" – a beautiful reference to the deep color and the warm, sunny character of this wine from Salento in Puglia.

The blend consists of the two well-known grapes of the region: Negroamaro and Primitivo. The Primitivo mainly provides the ripe, juicy fruit, while Negroamaro adds more spiciness and structure. Furthermore, the grapes are not harvested at the same time: the Negroamaro is picked first, and the Primitivo follows approximately two weeks later.
