Tasting Notes: The Wolftrap White
A unique blend of Viognier, Chenin Blanc, and Grenache Blanc. This results in a bright yellow wine with a complex aroma of white peaches, apricots, apple blossom, and citrus. The palate adds more fruit, such as nectarines and pineapple. Full-bodied, lively, and fruity. With a vibrant freshness, yet also rich in flavor and with beautifully integrated oak. The stone fruit lingers for a very long time in the finish.

The Wolftrap White is delicious with grilled white fish with a white cream sauce, kuluyuk, white fish, main course salad, grilled chicken, curries, Asian dishes with fruit (spicy is fine), or a hearty salad with peaches.
Additional Information
The Wolftrap is a wine from one of the best winemakers in South Africa. In the late eighteenth century, French Huguenots started a winery in Franschhoek, South Africa. Remarkably, the French founders of this now famous winery chose the Afrikaans name 'Boekenhoutskloof'.
Winemakers Mark Kent and Rudiger Gretschel are now the driving forces behind this renowned wine estate. Many wine writers from all over the world consider Boekenhoutskloof to be among the best wineries in South Africa.
