Tasting Notes Serre dei Roveri Gavi
Serre dei Roveri opens with aromas of citrus fruits, apple and subtle floral notes, while an elegant minerality is reminiscent of wet stones or chalk. The flavors of lemon, ripe apple and peach are subtly rounded off with a hint of almond, providing a refreshing and crisp finish, characteristic of classic Gavi wines from Piedmont.
Wine & Food Pairing
Open this Serre dei Roveri Gavi with light dishes, such as sushi, sashimi, summer salads, or a risotto. Thanks to its fresh, dry character and refined balance, it is also an excellent aperitif wine, ideal for warm days or as an appetizer.
Additional Information
The Serre dei Roveri Gavi comes from the Piedmont region in Northern Italy, a region renowned worldwide for its quality wines. This wine is made from 100% Cortese, a traditional local grape that provides the characteristic fresh, dry style with a distinct mineral expression, which is why Gavi is often described as the "Chablis of Italy." The wine is light-bodied, elegant, and perfectly balanced, with aromas that harmoniously combine fresh fruit and mineral nuances
