Tasting Notes Royal Oporto 10 years old tawny (boxed)
Wonderful aromas rise from the glass: raisins, ripe figs, caramel and oak. On the palate also honey, vanilla and orange peel. A sweet indulgence. Well balanced with acidity. The color is impressive, clear, light garnet red with amber at the edges. A sublime 10-year-old port!
Wine & Food Pairing
First, simply sip this port on its own. That's the best way to discover all the complex aromas and flavors. Then, for example, drink it as an aperitif with nuts or as a dessert with dishes containing caramel, nuts and/or honey.

This is a '10 years old' tawny port. This means that the port has been aged in barrels for 10 years. Because it is a blend of different ports, the age on the bottle is the average age. Through barrel aging, a port develops aromas of nuts and vanilla, among others.
