Tasting Notes Pier Barbaresco Vila Riserva
Intense nose with notes of delicate red fruit, violets, dried flowers, licorice, and juniper berries. The taste is full-bodied, warm, with a long and velvety finish. This Barbaresco Vila Reserva has a very bright ruby red color.

Additional Information
The winery is located about seven kilometers from Alba (the capital of Langhe) in Treiso. The wines produced by Pier Vini come from highly regarded vineyards in Pajorè, Nicolini, and Tre Stelledie, which have always been owned by the Grasso family.
Pier is the first name of Pier Paolo Grasso, a scion of the famous Grasso family. As there is often confusion between the estates of the different family members, Pier has chosen to work under his first name. The family owns some of the best-situated vineyards in Treiso, part of the Barbaresco area, which are farmed almost organically.
