Paul Clüver Riesling has a light straw yellow color and a fresh hint of green apple. The nose reveals aromas of ripe green apple, apple blossom, and a hint of honey, with subtle floral nuances. The taste is bright and crisp: lively acidity beautifully interacts with a natural residual sweetness, creating a refreshing balance reminiscent of lemon sorbet. The Paul Cluver Riesling comes from the cool Elgin Valley in the Western Cape, a region known for its ideal conditions for aromatic white grapes. The wine is made entirely from 100% Riesling and comes from the family estate Paul Clüver, which has been established in Elgin since 1896.
