The Paseo Merlot Rosé is produced by the Chilean winery Viña del Pedregal, a family business with a winemaking tradition since 1825. The grapes come from Chile's Central Valley, where sunny days and cool nights ensure optimally ripe grapes while preserving fresh acidity and aromatic expression.
For this rosé, the Merlot grapes are harvested early to preserve their lively freshness. They are then processed via direct pressing or short skin maceration to obtain the delicate rosé color and fruity style. Subsequently, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks follows to optimally preserve the fresh, pure fruit character.
