Tasting Notes Paseo Merlot
Chilean Merlot...always a good choice. This is a smooth and fruit-driven red wine with aromas of ripe cherries, plums, and blackcurrants, complemented by subtle notes of cocoa, vanilla, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is soft and round, with velvety tannins and an elegant, fruity finish.

Paseo Cabernet Merlot is delicious with grilled meats, pasta with rich tomato sauce, or creamy mushroom dishes. Also excellent with semi-hard and lightly aged cheeses.
Additional Information
The Paseo Merlot is produced by the Chilean winery Viña del Pedregal, a family business with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1825. The grapes come from Chile's Central Valley, where sunny days and cool nights ensure optimal ripening and preservation of freshness in the fruit.
After harvest, the grapes are carefully selected and fermented at a controlled temperature to preserve the expressive fruit character, after which a portion of the wine undergoes a short aging period with oak contact for added roundness, softness, and subtle notes of vanilla and cocoa.
