Nittnaus Beerenauslese Exquisit features exotic scents of acacia honey, candied fruit, an intense fruitiness, sultry sweetness, and sufficient freshness in the finish. Intense peach and aromas of tropical fruit and raisins. Brilliant straw-yellow color with high viscosity in the glass.

This Beerenauslese from Nittnaus is a fantastic choice with foie gras, ripe cheeses, fruity sorbets, and tarts; in short, an all-rounder.
Other information
The shallow Lake Neusiedl, where the vineyards are located, causes fog in the autumn and ensures the famous "Botrytis Cinerea" fungus on the grapes. It makes tiny holes in the skin and ensures they over-ripen and dry out on the bunch. By stopping the fermentation in the cellar, there is a low alcohol content and a significantly high residual sugar of 158 grams per liter. Nittnaus is very proud of this dessert wine which won the Berliner Wine Trophy - gold medal (2021).
The Nittnaus brothers' winery is located in Gols, the largest wine-growing region in Austria. The family has owned vineyards here for over 300 years. The youngest generation has been at the helm since 1986 and has clearly divided the tasks. The unique microclimate around Lake Neusiedl combined with the very varied soils form an excellent basis for making quality wines.
