Nittnaus Beerenauslese Exquisit has exotic aromas of acacia honey, candied fruit, intense fruitiness, sultry sweetness and sufficient freshness on the finish. Intense peach and aromas of tropical fruit and raisins. Brilliant straw-yellow color with great viscosity in the glass.

This Beerenauslese from Nittnaus is a fantastic choice with foie gras, mature cheeses, fruity sorbets and tarts – in short, an all-rounder.

Additional information

The shallow Neusiedler See, where the vineyards are located, causes mist in autumn and provides the famous "Botrytis Cinerea" mold on the grapes. This creates small holes in the skin, allowing them to ripen and dry on the vine. By stopping fermentation in the cellar, there is a low alcohol content and a significantly high residual sugar of 158 g per liter. Nittnaus is very proud of this dessert wine, which won the Berliner Wine Trophy - gold medal (2021).

The Nittnaus brothers' winery is located in Gols, the largest wine-growing region in Austria. The family has owned vineyards here for over 300 years. The youngest generation has been at the helm since 1986 and has clearly divided the tasks. The unique microclimate around Lake Neusiedl, combined with the very varied soils, provides an excellent basis for making quality wines.
