Tasting Note Musivum Teroldego Rotaliano Superiore
The wine has a very high concentration of color and aromas. Blackcurrants, plums, blueberries, and cherries on the nose, along with herbs and spices such as bitter cocoa, pepper, and eucalyptus. This is a wine that can age excellently and retains its strength. Its firm tannins call for a hearty game dish.

The Musivum Teroldego Rotaliano Superiore is truly brilliant with roasted venison fillet served with a juniper berry-based sauce. Furthermore, it also pairs perfectly with sautéed duck breast with a blackberry jus.

Local hero Teroldego has found its ideal environment in Trentino, where it consistently produces generous and fruity wines. It is a grape variety with a fascinating history, originating on the famous plains of the "Piana Rotaliana." This plain has been a crossroads of cultures and traditions for thousands of years.
Years of deposits from the Noce river have created a unique soil formation, consisting of a very fertile topsoil of sand and silt, underneath which lies a deep drainage layer of gravel and pebbles that is highly permeable, dry, and well-ventilated.
MezzaCorona has existed since 1904 and is one of the very first cooperatives in Italy. Today, the name MezzaCorona represents a group of wineries stretching from the far north to the deep south of Italy.
To say MezzaCorona is to immediately say Trentino. And vice versa. MezzaCorona controls about 2,400 hectares of vineyards there and in the neighboring Alto Adige. Trentino is located in Northern Italy between Verona and the Alps, where viticulture is concentrated in the Adige valley.

Did you know that Teroldego is one of the oldest and most characteristic grape varieties of Trentino? The name Teroldego may possibly be derived from "Tiroler Gold," or "Tyrolean gold." The grape feels particularly at home on the Piana Rotaliana, where the Noce river has formed a soil of sand, silt, gravel, and pebbles over thousands of years.
