Light yellow in colour with golden accents. The aroma is complex with elements of honey, flowers and raisins. The freshness is particularly striking on the palate due to an excellent sweet and sour balance. A Spanish treat.

Other information

In 1955, winegrowers from four villages in the province of Zaragoza (Aragón) joined forces to form Bodegas Santo Cristo and established their cellar in Ainzón. It now has 750 members with 1,250 hectares of vineyards. A controlled designation of origin for their wines did not yet exist in the 1950s. Thanks to considerable efforts, Santo Cristo played a significant role in the official establishment of the Denominación de Origen Campo de Borja in 1980. Campo de Borja is mainly red, and is marketed both with and without wood aging.

In addition, rosé has also become increasingly interesting in recent years. The most important grape here is Garnacha (Grenache), while Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon are also planted. The white wine comes from Macabeo. A traditional specialty is the sweet Moscatel, made from the grape of the same name.
