Tasting Notes Minius Godello
Minius Godello has a clear straw yellow color. The nose opens with floral and citrus aromas, think lemon blossom, fresh apples and a hint of fennel. On the palate, it displays a smooth elegance: the white fruit is complemented by soft herbs and a pleasant mineral undertone. The acidity is lively but not sharp, and the finish lingers for a long time.
Wine & Food
Minius Godello is an ideal companion for shellfish such as mussels, oysters and shrimp, comes into its own beautifully with grilled fish dishes and also forms a fresh combination with light salads or dishes with gentle acidity.
Additional information
Soft, elegant white wine with freshness and length from Galicia in the north of Spain. Lively yellow-green in color in the glass. On the palate, citrus and floral flavors stand out, complemented by subtle green herbs.
This wine strikes a nice balance: it is not crisp and fresh, but certainly not full and rich either. This makes it versatile: for lunch, drinks or dinner.
