Tasting Note Maison Sinnae Les Corrèges Condrieu
In the glass, the wine displays a radiant golden-yellow color. The bouquet is intense and seductive, with aromas of spring blossom, apricot, mandarin, peach, mango, and pear, complemented by subtle hints of citrus and honey. On the palate, the wine is full and creamy, with a harmonious balance between ripe fruit, fresh acidity, and soft spiciness. The finish is long, silky, and complex, with hints of caramelized orange, sweet spices, and vanilla. In short, a magnificent gastronomic wine. This majestic Condrieu is something you truly must taste once in your life! That is for certain!
Food Pairing
Maison Sinnae Les Corrèges Condrieu by Plaimont is a wine to sit down and savor. This white wine from the Northern Rhône is best enjoyed with refined dishes such as scallops with saffron sauce, grilled lobster, foie gras terrine, risotto with young vegetables, light white fish dishes, or creamy cheeses like Brie and goat cheese. Serve chilled at 10–12 °C and enjoy it in its youth for maximum freshness, though it can develop beautifully for 3 to 5 years.
Other information
This cuvée offers a unique and rare wine (1.5 ha!!), with that typical character of the Condrieu appellation. The unique geographical location, the steep slopes with high sun exposure, and the Mistral wind, which provides cooling and blows the grapes dry after rainfall, create a unique microclimate. The soil with granite grit, mica, slate, and clay is also very distinctive. 10% of the total cuvée is aged for 4 months in new French oak barrels, and the rest in stainless steel tanks.
Producteurs Plaimont is the driving force of the Sud-Ouest of France and one of the most innovative wine companies in all of France. With 1,000 affiliated vignerons, approximately 5,250 hectares of vineyards, and a production of about 385,000 hectoliters, Producteurs Plaimont is the largest player in the Sud-Ouest.
