Tasting Notes La Gioiosa Prosecco Frizzante
Cheerful, refined Italian bubbles. Spring in your glass! A soft mouthfeel, with plenty of fruit, a refined, subtle mousse, and a clean finish. Aromas of white fruit (apples and pears) and citrus. Straw yellow in color.
Wine & Food
La Gioiosa Prosecco Frizzante is delightful as an aperitif, with salads, antipasto, shellfish, risotto, olives, cream cheese and cucumber wraps, prosciutto crudo, and deviled eggs.
Additional Information
La Gioiosa is a family business and a specialist in Prosecco wines. They are located in Valdobbiadene, the region that holds DOCG status. The name of this Prosecco specialist refers to the coat of arms of Treviso – Marca Gioiosa et Amarosa (joyful and loving). This strongly aligns with the driving forces of the Moretti Polegato family. For three generations, they have led their company with this sentiment, and it is reflected in their wines.
La Gioiosa is located in Valdobbiadene, the heart of the Prosecco region in Northern Italy and the area that recently gained DOCG status. The winemakers at La Gioiosa are constantly seeking the ideal conditions for the Prosecco grape, which offers far more possibilities than often imagined.
They produce fresh frizzante wines with a distinctly elegant taste and more complex spumante wines that often rival big names in this segment. The modern house of La Gioiosa has been making delicious Prosecco wines for decades. They produce various wines, not only Prosecco, but also red, white, and Grappa.
This Prosecco makes your morning, afternoon, or evening super festive!
