Tasting Notes L'Auratae Rosato
This L'Auratae Rosato is intense and fruity, with notes of wild berries, cherries, peach and ripe exotic fruit. Despite its dark pink color, it is not sweet.

L'Auratae Rosato is deliciously fresh as an aperitif and pairs well with salmon dishes.
Additional Information
Not only is the wine impeccably organic, but the packaging is also perfectly fine. The label paper is 100% recycled, the glass is 85% recycled, the ink is vegetable-based, and the boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard.
This winery, dating back to 1697, spans 50 hectares and has been owned by Stefano and Marina Girelli and their business partner Massimo Maggio since 2000. It is located near Vittoria, in the South of Sicily. The grapes from the Santa Tresa estate have been organically grown for years, but three years ago, Santa Tresa decided to have this officially registered. As of the 2009 harvest, everything is officially certified as organic wine.
The vineyards benefit from a cool Southern sea breeze that compensates for the inland heat. The soil is fertile due to Mount Etna.
