Tasting note l'Auratae Nero d'Avola
This supple and organic l'Auratae Nero d'Avola has a deep red color, soft tannins, a beautiful structure and is bursting with fruit. Made from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes.

Due to its red berry flavor, this wine is delicious with red meat, grilled dishes and spicy cheeses.
Additional information
Not only is the wine impeccably organic, but the packaging is also completely fine. The label paper is 100% recycled, the glass is 85% recycled, the ink is vegetable-based, and the boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard.
This winery, dating back to 1697, spans 50 hectares and has been owned by Stefano and Marina Girelli and their business partner Massimo Maggio since 2000. It is located near Vittoria, in southern Sicily. The grapes from the Santa Tresa estate have been organically grown for years, but three years ago Santa Tresa decided to have this officially registered. As of the 2009 harvest, everything is officially certified as organic wine.
The vineyards benefit from a cool southerly sea breeze that compensates for the inland heat. The soil is fertile due to Mount Etna.
