Other information
The word "Küfertrunk" literally means "cooper's drink" and refers to the fact that this wine was traditionally served from a wooden barrel.
Although Kellerei Moselland is based in Bernkastel-Kues, in the heart of the Moselle Valley, and even though the name Moselland itself might suggest otherwise, this company has long since ceased to limit itself solely to Moselle wines.
Moselland is now active in almost all major German wine-growing regions. As a result, it can now offer a very extensive product range in various flavor profiles, from traditional mild to modern dry such as Classic. The emphasis is on accessible wines, tailored to the taste and budget of a large audience, but technically impeccably produced.
