The Gelblack is the result of a special collaboration between Kolonne Null and Schloss Johannisberg in Germany's Rheingau region. Schloss Johannisberg is considered the world's oldest Riesling winery, with a history dating back to the 18th century. With the Gelblack, the classic Riesling style of Schloss Johannisberg is translated into a modern alcohol-free wine.

The wine is made from 100% Riesling. A combination of membrane technology and vacuum distillation is used to remove the alcohol. By performing this process at a low temperature, the aim is to preserve the aromatic properties, structure, and balance of the Riesling as much as possible.
