Tasting note Jordan Unoaked Chardonnay
The Jordan Unoaked Chardonnay is a wine of exceptional quality. On the nose, the wine is reminiscent of bananas and nuts. The palate offers fresh aromas of lime, ripe yellow fruit, and nuts. By aging for 4 months in stainless steel tanks, this wine develops very fine acidity, which provides a wonderful finish. This keeps this Chardonnay beautifully fresh and juicy.

Jordan Unoaked Chardonnay is excellent as an aperitif and tastes delicious with all kinds of salads and fish dishes.

Jordan Winery is professionally run by Gary and Kathy Jordan. Not only do they make excellent wines, but the restaurant, the bistro, and the guest accommodations at Jordan are also well worth a visit.
The Jordan winery is the only estate in Stellenbosch that owns vineyards planted in every direction. They own no less than 164 hectares in this beautiful wine region. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 160 to 410 meters and benefit from the cooling influences of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. The soil consists of ancient granite with various top layers, ranging from clay-loam to sand and gravel. In winemaking, innovative methods are combined with natural processes.
