You keep smelling the glass of Jordan Chardonnay Barrel Fermented: roasted nuts, vanilla, oak, and ripe yellow fruit. The taste is overwhelming and sublime. A Chardonnay wine at its very best. You taste hints of butter and cream. But also firm fruit notes of peach, mango, and apricots come to the fore. The finish of Jordan Chardonnay Barrel Fermented is characterized by freshly baked bread, oak, and vanilla. The incredibly long barrel aging, of no less than 10 months, is clearly reflected in the aroma and taste. Enjoy!

Jordan Winery is professionally run by Gary and Kathy Jordan. Not only do they make excellent wines, but Jordan's restaurant, bistro, and guesthouses are also well worth a visit.

Jordan is the only winery in Stellenbosch that owns vineyards planted in every direction. They own no less than 164 hectares in this beautiful wine region. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 160 to 410 meters and benefit from the cooling influences of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. The soil consists of ancient granite with various top layers, ranging from clay-loam to sand and gravel. In winemaking, innovative methods are combined with a natural approach.
