Greg & Juju Marselan Syrah is a powerful and alluring red wine with an aroma of blackcurrants and chocolate. The wine is juicy and bursts with flavors of ripe cassis and blackberries, beautifully balanced by the presence of the Marselan grape, which provides structure and juiciness, while the Syrah grape adds a spicy undertone.

This Greg & Juju Marselan/Syrah is produced by Domaine Preignes Le Vieux, a winery located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in Southern France. The estate of Domaine Preignes le Vieux is centrally located in the beautiful Languedoc region and has a rich history dating back to 1202. 

The castle is beautifully situated and features various original elements, such as a tower and gateway, which can still be admired. The estate has developed into a versatile wine domain with a wide variety of grape varietals. The current owners, brothers Jerôme, Robert, and Bruno Vic, are the fifth generation of winemakers and have set themselves the goal of producing only top-quality wines.

The Greg & Juju Marselan Syrah is harvested at night to keep the grapes cool and prevent oxidation. After harvesting, the grapes are pneumatically pressed to extract the juice. During fermentation, neutral yeasts are used to avoid affecting the wine's flavor.

Maceration on the skins lasts 12 days and takes place at a temperature between 15 and 20 degrees. This extracts color, flavor, and aromas from the wine. After maceration, the wine is pressed and aged in oak barrels to develop its full character and complexity.
