Additional information
Distinctive wine from the cheerful Greg and Juju, named after the winemakers' children, embodying the passion and dedication of the 5th generation of this prestigious winery.
Made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Grenache, which is quite bold, but the result is fantastic. It is a true Southern French rosé; the style of the wine is light, juicy, with an abundance of generous, fresh red fruits like currants and raspberries, along with some Southern French spiciness.
This Greg & Juju Pinot Noir/Grenache Noir is produced by Domaine Preignes Le Vieux, a winery located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France. The estate of Domaine Preignes le Vieux is centrally located in the beautiful Languedoc region and boasts a rich history dating back to 1202.
The castle is beautifully situated and features various original elements, such as a tower and an entrance gate, which can still be admired. The estate has evolved into a versatile wine domain with a wide variety of grape varietals. The current owners, brothers Jérôme, Robert, and Bruno Vic, are the fifth generation of winemakers and have set themselves the goal of producing only top-quality wines.
The grapes are machine-harvested at night, with careful selection. The grapes grow on volcanic soil, which contributes to the wine's unique taste and aromas.
After harvesting, the grapes are pneumatically pressed, and the pressed juice is separated from the solids. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, which helps preserve the wine's fresh aromas. By combining these factors, the vinification process results in a refreshing and fruity rosé with a good balance between the grape varieties.
This wine has been awarded the Qualenvi Laureat certificate, which stands for sustainable winemaking with respect for nature.Discover more magnums in our extensive assortment.
