Tasting note Ferme du Mont Châteauneuf-du-Pape "Vendange" Blanc
On the nose, you will discover scents of ripe citrus, quince, white truffle, and flowers. On the palate, the aromas match those you identified on the nose, but you can also taste the minerality of the soil and a touch of beeswax that gives the wine a bit of richness. However, freshness dominates the overall profile. In short, a very complex wine with a full body and a very long finish. Yellow color with a greenish tint.
Food Pairing

Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the world-famous region with its characteristic soil covered in rounded pebbles. These stones retain the sun's heat and radiate it to the grapes at night, allowing them to continue ripening slowly.
Since the 2010 vintage, only natural wines have been produced. All wines are organic (uncertified); no herbicides or pesticides are used in the vineyard. Only natural yeasts are used, and sulfur usage is kept to a minimum.
Winemaker Stephane Vedeau of La Ferme du Mont is an exceptional man. He feels a strong connection to his vineyards and his wines, and he has experimented extensively with winemaking, for example in the Languedoc. However, the southern Rhône has long been his home. To emphasize the elegance in his wines, he strives to incorporate as much freshness as the region and the vintage allow.
Rhône
The Rhône region has 17 characteristic crus: 8 in the north and 9 in the south. These crus are responsible for approximately 20% of Rhône wine production. One of these southern crus is the most famous worldwide: Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This wine is particularly known for its robust and complex character.
Officially, 13 different red and white grapes may be used in a bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine, but the base is always Grenache Rouge. A Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a fantastic wine to keep in your wine cellar. It can be aged for at least 20 years after the harvest year.
