This floral Serica Viognier has a delightful aroma of candied Valencia oranges and stone fruit like apricot. On the palate, you'll discover flavors of banana, mango, cream, roses, chamomile, and a hint of roasted almond. A rich and oily texture, partly due to extended barrel aging on its lees. Silky smooth and luxurious!

Serica Viognier pairs wonderfully with pan-fried shrimp with plenty of garlic and some orange zest. The Serica Viognier is also the perfect companion for Vietnamese dishes, where the wine's lively flavors harmonize with the spicy and aromatic tastes of Asian cuisine.

This version of Domaine de Vedilhan's Viognier is given the addition Serica, which in ancient times was synonymous with silk. A more fitting comparison is hardly possible, as this Viognier absolutely reminds you of the soft feel of silk.

The Viognier grapes for this wine are harvested a bit later, which gives the wine more concentration and color. The wine then matures for 6 months in both French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks.
