Additional Information
This beautiful Cava Brut is made from the well-known blend of Xarel.lo, Macabeo, and Parellada. The grapes complement each other beautifully, as always, resulting in an alluring Cava.
The Flama d'Or label depicts a grapevine rising from the earth like a fiery flame. This image symbolizes the origin of the grapes, their deep roots in the soil, and their potential to grow into a variety of grape types. When these diverse grape varieties are blended, unique and special wines and cavas are created.
The cavas from Castell d'Or are the result of over a century of dedicated work by the cooperative. Everything revolves around unique Cavas that reflect the land. They work according to traditional methods to develop cavas rich in flavors and aromas, one by one.
Flama d'Or Cava Brut is produced using the traditional Cava method, with meticulous attention to every detail. The process begins with the separate harvesting and fermentation of each grape variety. The wine then undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, with the addition of sugar and yeasts, and the bottles are stored in underground cellars at a constant temperature of 15 to 17 degrees. For over 12 months, the Cava ages in the bottle, undergoes a second fermentation, and develops its sparkling character and complexity.
