Fine, persistent bubbles and aromas of citrus and tropical fruit. Complex ageing aromas of toast and brioche are added. Partly due to the addition of Chardonnay, it is creamy, broad, and long-lasting on the palate. With Anna de Codorníu Blanc de Blancs Reserve, every occasion is worth a toast.
Wine & Food Pairing
Very versatile and excellent with a variety of delicate appetizers: Dutch shrimp in jelly, Foie Gras on toast, as well as an oyster gratinated with a sabayon based on the same Anna de Codorníu Blanc de Blancs brut.
Additional Information
Anna de Codorníu first came to market in 1984 and has since become synonymous with elegant Cavas in their purest form. Meanwhile, it has rightly become the best-selling cava in Spain. Anna de Codorníu Blanc de Blancs has the traditional blend of Parellada, Macabeu, and Xarel·lo but is enriched with a generous dash of Chardonnay. Together with a maturation period on its lees of more than 15 months, this creates a beautiful complexity in the glass.
Quality cava. Excellent as an aperitif. Citrus, tropical fruit, and a clear hint of toast and brioche. Creamy mouthfeel and a crisp, dry finish. Excellent value for money.
