Tasting Note Cava Anna de Codorníu Blanc de Blancs Brut 0.75 cl
The nose offers green apple, ripe pear, and citrus peels. The taste is perfectly balanced, with ripe fruit notes of apple and gooseberry, and a nice dose of minerality. In the undertones, this Anna de Codorniu Brut also has notes of mown grass, brioche, toast, and lime. Truly a wonderful Cava with excellent value for money!
Wine & Food Pairing
Excellent as an aperitif, but also very versatile and perfectly paired with a variety of delicate appetizers: Dutch shrimp in jelly, foie gras on toast, as well as an oyster gratinéed with a sabayon based on the same Anna de Codorníu Blanc de Blancs Brut. Also perfect with fresh salads, shellfish, and soft cheeses.

Codorníu is the oldest producer of wine and cava in Spain. They are a symbol of continuity, innovation, and loyalty to their origins. The history of Codorníu is the story of a winemaking family dating back to the sixteenth century.
Anna de Codorníu first came to market in 1984 and has since become synonymous with elegant Cavas in their purest form. It is now rightly the best-selling cava in Spain. Anna de Codorníu Blanc de Blancs has the traditional blend of Parellada, Macabeo, and Xarello but is enriched with a good amount of Chardonnay. Partly due to this addition, it is creamy, broad, and long-lasting on the palate. With Anna de Codorníu Blanc de Blancs, every occasion is worth a toast.
