Additional Information
Wines made from the Primitivo grape can be full and smooth. Not those from the area around the village of Manduria. These are known for their power and complexity. This powerhouse has an alcohol percentage of 14.5%. Beautiful presentation and a very heavy bottle.
This wine is made from 100% Primitivo grapes and has matured for 12 months in oak barrels. Primitivo is a typical grape for the beautiful Apulia and ripens early.
In California, the grape is called Zinfandel and is considered Californian pride. This grape variety originally comes from Croatia under the names Tribidag and Crljenak Kaštelanski. The fantastic wines of Callesella are known for their excellent price-quality ratio.
