Additional Information
It's a given with a bull on the label, but the Lunaria Coste di Moro Montepulciano is a beastly delicious red wine. The wild bull on the label represents 'La mia furia è autentica forza': my rage is authentic strength. He has clearly gotten very angry.
A biodynamic wine with a round, sweet mouthfeel. A wine with depth too, lots of fruit and a nice balance between soft bitterness and acidity. The wine gets a little oak aging and the skin maceration lasts 25 days. This creates a deep, concentrated wine. The Montepulciano grapes are grown using the pergola system, vineyards are located at an average altitude of 300-450 meters.
This Lunaria Coste di Moro Montepulciano has a Demeter quality mark. This stands for biodynamic. In biodynamic viticulture, artificial fertilizers and chemical pesticides are prohibited. People, animals, and the environment are highly valued here. The connection between the earth, animals, plants, and the climate is also considered. The position of the sun, moon, and planets is observed. The interaction between all these elements plays an important role in the preparation of this wine.
