Tasting Notes BIO La Casa de Bio Julia Oaked Chardonnay 2024
La Casa de Bio Julia Oaked Chardonnay has a brilliant, golden yellow color that immediately invites tasting. The aroma reveals a seductive interplay of ripe tropical fruits such as peach, mango, and pineapple, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla, butter, and a hint of toasted oak. A touch of citrus and white flowers provides freshness and elegance.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and creamy in texture, with a soft, rounded entry. The flavors of tropical fruit are beautifully supported by light oak notes and refined spiciness. The fresh acidity keeps the wine in balance, maintaining its vibrancy without becoming heavy. The finish is long, soft, and pleasant, with a hint of vanilla and a touch of caramel.
Wine & Food
This lightly oaked Chardonnay pairs excellently with dishes with a creamy or soft texture. Think of chicken in cream sauce, roasted turkey, or pasta with mushrooms and truffle. The wine also comes into its own beautifully with grilled white fish or salmon with a butter sauce. The fresh acidity provides balance.
For vegetarians, this is a delightful accompaniment to roasted pumpkin, grilled zucchini, or mushroom risotto. The wine also forms a harmonious combination with soft cheeses like brie or camembert. Serve it lightly chilled, around 10 to 12 degrees Celsius, to allow the aromas of fruit and wood to fully develop.
