BIO La Casa originates from the Castilla La Mancha wine region near Toledo. The Castilla-La Mancha area, also dubbed the wine cellar of Spain, stretches across the entire southern half of Spain's Central Meseta. It is eight million hectares (80,000 square km) in size and includes five provinces: Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara, and Toledo. Castilla-La Mancha produces 50% of the total Spanish wine production, a staggering 18 million hectoliters.
