Tasting Notes Bio Integro Verdeca
The wine has delicate aromas with notes of peach, mango, fresh pineapple, and deliciously soft fruit. A certain freshness on the palate and well-balanced. And, of course, with that typical Italian bitter finish.
Wine & Food
As an aperitif, the Bio Integro Verdeca tastes delightful. But it's also an excellent choice with dishes such as pasta vongole and grilled calamari with lemon. The fresh acidity and soft fruit make the wine a perfect match. Also very surprising with Börek with spinach and feta.
Additional information
The Verdeca grape is an ancient grape variety that derives its name from its green color (verde), which it retains even when fully ripe. And ripe they become, as this organically grown Verdeca comes from Brindisi, located in the heel of southern Italy. The grapes are picked at night, ensuring the presence of fresh acids and making the wine delightfully invigorating.
The Feudo di Santa Tresa winery is known for its commitment to quality and sustainable viticulture practices. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. This process ensures that the delicate aromas and fresh flavors are optimally preserved. The winery combines modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship to produce high-quality wines that are both environmentally friendly and flavorful.
