The Verdeca grape is an ancient grape variety that derives its name from its green color (verde), which it retains even when fully ripe. And ripe they become, as this organically grown Verdeca comes from Brindisi, located in the heel of southern Italy. The grapes are picked at night, ensuring the presence of fresh acids and making the wine delightfully invigorating.
